Wow!

So much to say...Where do I start?  I am learning so much about God through His word and through obedience to His word.  He is awesome in power!  He is mighty to save!

The Kingdom is advancing!

I have been praying for my kids for years.  I have been praying that God would make them to be mighty warriors in His kingdom.

I didn't even have a full understanding of what that meant.  I am beginning to understand.  God is showing us just what it means to be a warrior in His kingdom.  The battle is on!  We have engaged the enemy!  The enemy is not flesh and blood.  Our enemies are the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  We must put on the full armor of God, and stand firm.

So many people are hurting.  So many people we know are suffering from physical injuries, pain, cancer, food allergies and sensitivities, and the list goes on.  God is able to heal them.  He is even willing to heal them.  He healed us!  By His power, He healed us!  According to our faith, He healed us!  His word is true!  He is Who He says that He is!  He is our Healer and our Provider!  He loves us!  God is love and love heals!

So...I am praying for healing.  I am seeking the Lord, to know Him more!  I am asking Him for more faith to believe.  Yes.  I can ask for more faith.  It is His will that I believe Him.  Without faith, I can not please Him.  He tells me that if I ask, I will receive!  If I seek, I will find!  If I knock, the door will be opened to me.  It is His will that I ask Him for faith to believe what I read in His word.  I can have confidence that I will receive what I ask for, because it is His will to ask Him.

I am praying for healing.  His word says that the believer will lay their hands on the sick and the sick will be made well.  I have seen my family healed by God.  We daily walk in faith that God will take care of us.  We pray for each other.  Headaches vanish.  Itches stop itching.  Pain leaves.  Rashes clear up.  Now, I am beginning to pray for others.  Through me, because I am part of the body of Christ, God has healed back pain in two people.  A child recently shut her finger in the car door, and we watched it heal before our very eyes.  The pain left and the redness went away and the wound shrank as we prayed.  A few weeks ago, I prayed for a boy who was having an allergic reaction.  The itching stopped.  That is God!  The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me.  (Romans 8:11)

Jesus said that those who love Him will obey His commands.  He says that those who obey His commands are the ones who love Him.  Jesus says that He will show himself to the ones who love Him.  When a disciple asks Jesus why He intends to show Himself to the disciples and not to the world, Jesus answers, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching."  (John 14:15-24)  It is good to read from John 13:34-15:17.  What does Jesus command us to do?  He commands us to love one another!  (John 13:34, John 15:12,17)

Jesus shows Himself to us who believe when we obey His commands.  He has been showing Himself to me more and more.  It is wonderful!  He sends the disciples out and tells them to "go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age."  (Matthew 28:17-20)  (also Mark 16:14-20)  Let's obey what Jesus has commanded.  Let's go!  Let's have compassion for people who are lost and hurting.  Let's go love people and tell them the Good News about Jesus!

All glory to God!  He is beyond our understanding!  He is Mighty to Save!
