It's all about Jesus! Always and forever, it is all about Jesus! He was from the beginning. All things were made by Him and through Him. He holds all things together! It's true.
Without Jesus, we have nothing! He is the way to the Father. He is the only way to the Father.
If we have seen Jesus, then we have seen the Father. Jesus said that! He is the exact representation of the Father! God's Word says that in Colossians!
Jesus said to follow Him. He gave us a new command to love one another in the same way that He loved us. Jesus said, "This is my command: Love one another." He said it over and over and over. There must be a reason why He said it so many times. He wants us to hear and remember. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
When we believe Jesus and obey His commands, we are transformed. Our faith (being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see) is a faith that leads to obedience. We obey because we want to obey because we are certain that loving others as He has loved us is, in fact, the right way to live. Being certain of this fact, we seek to rid ourselves of everything that hinders us. All idols must go! Everything that sets itself up against love must go! We want it to go. We desire it to go! We eagerly get rid of it because we know that love is the only way, and everything that hinders love must go!
The fullness of the deity dwelt in Jesus Christ in bodily form. Jesus was love in the flesh: the fullness of God's love in the flesh! Jesus did more than simply die to pay the price for our sins. He also lived as a man to show us what we look like when God's Spirit lives in us! He walked out perfection and told us to follow Him. He paid the price for our sins, so we can be always walking in righteousness. He gave us His Spirit, the Spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, so that we would have the power to walk in His shoes. In this life, we are to be like Jesus! It's all about Jesus because He is the way, the only way, to the Father!
